Shorena Makalatia, chef at Veriko restaurant, from Sukhumi. I am a philologist by profession, although I was attracted to cooking since childhood and everyone in the family was a cook, it was from that time that I became interested in cooking, especially old Georgian dishes and cuisine.
Even today, I try to preserve the authenticity and charm of Georgian dishes, but transform them with modern techniques and improve the quality of the dish even more.
