Artem Rzaev
My name is Artem Rzaev, and I am the chef at the Karlygash restaurant. I was born and raised in Moscow, and everything I know about gastronomy is the result of a long journey, experience, and working alongside top professionals. I have collaborated with leading restaurant groups such as the Novikov Group, Rappoport Restaurants, and the Ginza Project, and have worked in various cities and countries.
My style is modern signature cuisine: with attention to detail, carefully balanced combinations, and impeccable presentation. For me, it’s important to respect the ingredients and know how to bring out their natural qualities without overcomplicating things.
In Almaty, I headed the kitchen at one of the city’s renowned restaurants, “Salon Vkusa,” where I was able to fully realize my approach to gastronomy. Today, this experience and my developed sense of harmony form the foundation of the cuisine at “Karlygash.”
I create dishes that combine aroma, texture, and mood—so that each one becomes a complete gastronomic experience.
I cook to bring joy, so that flavor brings people together and makes moments unforgettable.
