Theatre

A multi-functional pavilion with constantly interesting performances
If you’re looking for a chance to unwind, relax, and have a good time in a location where exquisite cuisine and impeccable service await you, then you’ve come to the right place—because “Theatre” is the multifunctional space that brings it all together. A show, fine dining, and first-class service—what else do you need to enjoy yourself and return home with unforgettable emotions and memories?
A style that flourished at the beginning of the last century and then gradually faded has been revived a century later—Tbilisi has gained a new theater: “Dinner Theatre,” a large, multifunctional pavilion that is constantly transforming.
Behind the “Dinner Theatre” are people who, with great enthusiasm, spent a long time preparing to create something that would give new impetus and energy to Georgian culture and present various art forms in a completely different light. It’s safe to say they succeeded—the “Theatre” has become the epicenter of great adventures—choreography has taken flight, and musical experiments have begun.
Completely new musical theater productions were born—sometimes forgotten Georgian vaudevilles were revived, and at other times original Georgian versions were created based on musicals that had become global hits, such as “Nine” and “Mamma Mia.” The history of “Theatre” began to be written. This venue has become a favorite spot for both Georgian and international audiences who know they can relax here, enjoy a spectacular show, savor delicious food, and add another special bohemian adventure to their experience.
Meet Zaal Chikobava, the theater’s artistic director and stage director. You’ll find many interesting details in his biography, and once you learn them, you won’t be surprised by what led him to this theater with its unique aesthetic and content. He is an actor, director, producer, and administrator; in short, he is both a soldier and a general. Moreover, Zaal was one of the project’s initiators, and after two years of reflection and discussion, thanks to the patrons of the “Mills Group,” he managed to assemble an “army” which he himself led as commander-in-chief. At the Theatre, gastronomy is also a performance. Every dish created by the young and improvisationally gifted brand chef Alex Natadze is not just a prepared meal; it resonates with the concept of the show and becomes part of it. Therefore, when a performance is scheduled, the brand chef and a large team of cooks are also on site. Thus, every appetizer, main course, and dessert becomes part of the character, style, and genre of every “Theatre” event.
Alex Natadze makes no secret of the fact that “Theatre’s” cuisine differs from the predominantly traditional Georgian dishes served at “Mills” restaurants, but the quality remains unchanged. The brand chef, together with his team, has already managed to impress guests. “Theatre’s cuisine has become the talk of the town, and photos of the dishes have flooded social media. The goal has been achieved—gastronomy and performance are in perfect harmony. The conceptual gastro-theatrical premiere was a success.
The entire “Theatre” team is preparing for the premiere of “The Georgian Show”—the history of Georgia told through dance, song, and gastronomy.
