We offer you a simple recipe for the Easter cake, which is traditionally prepared in one of the corners of Georgia - Kakheti, and specifically in Lagodekhi. Its preparation is made in a special oven, in our case the recipe is a simplified version.

Mix Flour, chopped walnuts, all seasonings and sugar together. In the matsoni add baking powder and pour into a bowl with broken eggs. Mix with dry ingredients until the whole mass is united.
Pour the dough into the desired shapes so that they fill in 3/4. Put in the oven heated to 180 degrees for 45 minutes.
Check with a stick, if it comes out dry, without dough, then the cake is ready.
