Dice a beef and place the cubes in a medium-sized pot. Add water to cover them and place the pot on a medium heat, put a lid on and boil it until the water evaporates.

Add oil and minced onions and sauté together with meat. Afterwards, add narsharab, then barberries, ground red pepper and salt. Add chestnuts five minutes before it’s done.
