Tekuna Gachechiladze

Chef Tekuna Gachechiladze is one of the most influential figures in modern Georgian gastronomy and a pioneer of the new Georgian cuisine. His culinary style combines Georgian traditions with modern techniques and international influences.

She received her professional training at the Culinary Institute of America in New York and gained experience in Thai, Italian, and French cuisines. After returning to Georgia, he founded Cafe Litera and the Culinarium cooking school, and later created Khasheria, Teko's Tacos, and Apotheka Bar.

A significant milestone in Thekuna's international career was her position as Executive Chef at Marani – Georgian Restaurant in London, where she introduced Georgian cuisine to an international audience.
