Semyon Solomein

My name is Semyon Solomein, and I’m the brand chef at Omir Aktau. My career began in St. Petersburg, where I worked as a chef in the hot kitchen: there, I mastered the fundamentals of classical cuisine, discipline, and respect for the ingredients. I then traveled extensively throughout Russian cities and CIS countries—gaining insight and exchanging experiences, advancing in my career, and eventually launching my own projects as an executive chef.
This journey brought me to Aktau, Kazakhstan, where I now lead the kitchen at the Omir Aktau glamping hotel. My cuisine is centered on comfort food made with local ingredients and simple, truly authentic flavor combinations.
