Sanzharbek Yergeshaliyev
My name is Sanzharbek Yergeshaliyev, and I am the head chef at The Bridge restaurant. My professional journey began in 2008 in Yekaterinburg, where I took my first steps in the restaurant industry as a server. Every day, I watched the fascinating work going on in the kitchen, and I developed a dream—to become part of that culinary world myself.
Over time, my determination paid off: I became an assistant chef, where I mastered the basics of European cuisine and strict kitchen discipline. After three months of hard work, I officially became a chef. I gained my first significant experience and a solid professional foundation at FlyingFish.
Later, I became the head chef at Avocado. This place became a true creative playground for me, where I discovered new flavors, modern techniques, and innovative approaches to gastronomy.
In 2015, I made an important decision to move to Aktau, where I became head chef at “Shakhta.” But my real career and creative breakthrough came in 2017, when I joined the team at The Bridge.
Here, I was able to bring my vision to life and create a diverse culinary experience where guests can enjoy everything from impeccable European classics to national dishes with a vibrant local flair. For me, it’s not just about cooking—it’s about evoking emotions in people through every new flavor.
