My name is Ruslan Kaparov, and I’m a brand chef and restaurant consultant. My journey into the culinary world began in Astana after I graduated from Vocational Lyceum No. 2. I started out in the kitchen as a regular cook, but this world captivated me so much that I rose to the position of brand chef in a very short time.

Today, I have 17 years of experience managing kitchens for major restaurant chains and franchises.

Over the years, I’ve refused to limit myself to a single style: my cuisine draws on Kazakh, European, Italian, Japanese, Pan-Asian, and many other culinary traditions. I am deeply convinced that any good dish begins with the right choice of ingredients. When creating a menu, I always take local specialties and the region into account, striving to pour my heart and soul into my work and showcase the impeccable attention to detail in every ingredient. It’s important to me that there’s a clear concept behind the flavor—one that will make guests want to come back again and again.

At the same time, I believe that the greatest strength of any kitchen is its people. As a mentor and head chef, I find particular inspiration in building strong teams from the ground up, training the team, passing on my experience to them, and watching them grow in their profession alongside me.
