ingredients
1 1 kg. onions
40 40 ml. olive oil
40 40 gr. butter
150 150 ml. white dry wine
1 1 liter beef broth
1/2 1/2 baguette
70 70 gr. cheese emmental
2 2 bay leafs

Cut onions and caramelize them in butter and olive oil. Add white wine, broth and bay leafs.

Simmer for 30 minutes on a low hit.

Slice baguette, sprinkle with grated cheese and place in an oven for 3 minutes.
