We offer you a simple recipe for the Easter cake, which is traditionally prepared in one of the corners of Georgia - Kakheti, and specifically in Lagodekhi. Its preparation is made in a special oven, in our case the recipe is a simplified version.

500 500 gr. flour
30 30 gr. baking powder
1 1 teaspoon baking soda
500 500 ml. Matsoni
1 1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 1 teaspoon nutmeg
1 1 teaspoon dianthus
350 350 gr. walnuts
350 350 gr. butter
350 350 gr. sugar

Mix Flour, chopped walnuts, all seasonings and sugar together. In the matsoni add baking powder and pour into a bowl with broken eggs. Mix with dry ingredients until the whole mass is united.

Pour the dough into the desired shapes so that they fill in 3/4. Put in the oven heated to 180 degrees for 45 minutes. Check with a stick, if it comes out dry, without dough, then the cake is ready.
