Hello, my name is Magda, I am 32 years old. I am financier by profession. I live in Tbilisi with my husband and 4-year-old Saba. When Saba turned 1.5 years old, he began to eat “selectively”, which prompted me to become even more familiar with cooking, and at the same time - I began to take various courses on children’s feeding and nutrition. Soon I had the idea to share my experience and simple recipes with other parents. This is how my favorite blog on Instagram @georgianmomlife, appeared. To this day, I continue to translate the articles of well-known children’s nutrition specialists and share them with parents.

“You offer a balanced plate, and the child decides what to eat, how much, and whether to eat or not” is a mantra I learned from my favorite child nutritionist and it always helps me a lot when dealing with a “picky eater” children.

Let me teach you how to make peanut and chocolate paste for children at home.

ingredients
2 2 Cup peanuts
1 1 piece avocado
2 2 piece banana
3 3 tablespoon cocoa
30 30 gr. almonds 1/3
1/3 1/3 cup milk (to receive the desired consistency)
step 1
Ingredients for groundnut paste: Peanut (quantity as desired) Preparation: roast the groundnuts, separate them and grind them in a chopper, wait a few minutes until you get a uniform mass. Preparing peanut butter at home is much more budget-friendly, and what is most important, we can prepare it without additives (sugar, salt, honey are not recommended for children under 1 year old). You can give peanut butter from the age of 6 months, although giving it with a spoon carries a high risks, so experts recommend mixing it with yogurt or porridge, and spreading it on toast - you can offer it to children from the age of 1 year.
step 2
Peanut is a very useful product that contains substances necessary for the growth and development of a child. It is rich in protein, fat and fiber, contains antioxidants, folic acid, B6 and E vitamins. Keep in mind that peanuts are an allergic product, and initially offer small amounts to children, carefully observe the reaction.
step 3
Ingredients for chocolate paste: 1 piece of avocado, 2 pieces of banana, 3 dinner spoons of cocoa, 1 handful of almonds, milk (to get the desired consistency).
step 4
Blend everything (except milk) until a uniform mass is obtained. Pour over roasted bread and garnish with desired fruit. This version of homemade chocolate paste is a healthy alternative to other chocolate pastes. You can offer it to children from the age of 2, since cocoa is not recommended before this age.
step 5
Avocados are a source of healthy fats, which are necessary for the development of a child’s brain and nervous system. Banana is a source of carbohydrates, provides energy to the body, and also contains vitamin C, folic acid and potassium. Almonds are rich in protein, fat and fiber, contain antioxidants, folic acid, B6 and E vitamins.
