Traditional dish for Svaneti is Kubdari – a thinly chopped meat stewed in bread dough. Svanetian cooks and housewives also make Tashmijabi – a potato puree mixed with melted cheese. One of the best Svanetian creations is Svan Salt – a compilation of salt, pepper and other fragrant spices which fill any dish with a marvelous taste and aroma.
