In Russia in the first half of the 19th century, a new package of sweets - Bonbonniere (from french Bonbonniere - "package of sweets") appeared in boxes of different shapes and colors.
The production of traditional sweets was suspended and became less relevant, as along with the industrial development of the factory, mass production began to produce sweets and pack them in boxes. After Napoleon, on the territory of the Russian Empire there were shops and benches selling sweets of different shapes and tastes, where you could buy the first Bonbonnieres.
