Terms for freezing food

There are specific rules for keeping products in the freezer. Fruit, meat, vegetable, sausages or other products spoil after a certain period of time, so take a look at the information below and keep it in mind.

An egg stays fresh in the fridge for about 3 weeks. If you like to prolong its life for 2-3 days, then place it down on its top in a special egg case.

You have less time for cooking fish – it spoils after a week of lying in the freezer.

Unpacked fish stays fresh for only 2 days.

Raw meat can be preserved up to a week in the freezer and the dish made out of it is edible for 2 to 4 days.

Fresh vegetables keep edible for 7 days, while cheese - from 10 to 14 days.

Butter has the longest preserving terms as you can have it up to 8 months in the fridge.

Wash your fresh fruits, dry them well and place on a tray. The drier it is – longer it will last. Maximum freezing time of the fruits is 10 days.

A cake lasts 3 days in the fridge no matter what ingredients is it based on, while condensed milk – for 5 days.
