Chia seeds are becoming more and more popular. Homeland of this product is central and southern Mexico. This is an annual plant that is about 1 meter high.

Proteins - 16.54 gr. (66 kcal); Fats - 30,74 gr. (277 kcal); Carbohydrates - 42.12 gr. (168 kcal).

The product contains K, C, PP, B2, B1, and A vitamins. As well as zinc, selenium, copper, manganese, iron, phosphorus, sodium, magnesium, calcium, and potassium.

It is quite useful for digestive and cardiovascular system. The product strengthens the bones and teeth. Also, regulates sugar levels in blood.

It is not recommended for pregnant women just because scientists have not yet studied the general effect of the product during pregnancy.
