While travelling to Israel, we've explored really delicios breakfast - shakshuka. It's almost traditional dish to this country, but in fact comes from Liban, Marocco, and Tunis. We can say, that Shakshuka is as popular as hummus and falafel.
So, lets cook this wonderful dish. For one portion you will need:
2 eggs
400 gr. tomatoes
1 red bell pepper
1 red chilly pepper
1 onion
2-3 cloves of garlic
Dried paprika and dried oregano
Olive oil
Salt to taste
Preparation:
Chop onion and bell pepper, saute. Add pilled tomatoes, chilly pepper and seasonings, saute for 5-7 minutes. Make "holes" and put eggs inside. Cover with a lid and fry eggs.
Serve in a pan.
