Fish, sour cabbage, and garlic odor remain the longest period of time on dishes. Obviously, it's not the most pleasant experience of eating cake from a plate smelling fish or garlic. Vinegar is the best solution for the problem.
Take a bowl full of two litres of water and add 2 tbsp. of vinegar. Water has to be warm. Keep dishes in a bowl for few minutes.
Another option is placing the dishes in a very hot salty water.
The onion flavour is another problem of dishes. Housewives have discovered that wet tea leaves work against it. You put the leaves on a dish for 30 minutes and the smell disappears like it has never been before.
