Cinnamon roll – the fluffiest dessert ever! If today is the day, when you are into baking, than this recipe is for you!
15 gr. Yeast
½ cup of scalded milk
¼ cup of sugar
1/3 cup of melted butter
1 tsp. salt
4 cups of flour
½ cup melted butter
¾ cup powdered sugar
2 tbsp. grounded cinnamon
¾ cup raisins and walnuts
4 tbsp. melted butter
2 cups powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla extract
4 tbsp. hot water
Dissolve yeast in warm water. Place in a separate bowl milk, butter, sugar, egg, and salt. Whisk with mixer. Add 2 cups of flour, whisk, pour yeast, and whisk once again. Add remaining flour, whisk and knead the dough. Place it in a big bowl, wrap with plastic, set aside in a warm place and let rise until doubled in size.
Roll out dough and cut into a rectangles. Spread with melted butter. Mix sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle into dough along with raisins and walnuts. Make rolls.
Spread butter on a baking vessel, sprinkle with sugar and place cinnamon rolls. Leave for 30 minutes to let the dough rise again.
Bake at 180 degrees for 30 minutes.
Meanwhile cook the sauce. Mix melted butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Add 2 tbsp. of hot water or as much as you’ll need for desired consistency.
Pour the sauce into baked cinnamon rolls and enjoy!
