Sorrel soup

Sorrel is from that kind of greens which doesn’t require special climate conditions or care. It grows in even sub-alps climate, in forests, near trees and bushes.

Unforgettable taste is not the only advantage of the sorrel, it consists A and C vitamins, magnesium and iron.

Sorrel soup is really popular in Georgia and the best thing is that it’s really easy to cook.

Fry the white parts of green onion add water or broth. Then add several cut potatoes and one tablespoon of rice. While potatoes are cooking, cut sorrel, all that’s left from green onions, coriander, dill, parsley, and basil. In 5 minutes your soup will be cooked.

Serve the soup in a bowl with hard boiled eggs and sour cream.
