Satsebeli is one of the most significant sauces of Georgian cuisine. Of course, you can buy it in local supermarkets, but today we offer you the recipe of Satsebeli, which is made from fresh tomatoes.
1 kg. tomatoes
200 gr. onion
3 cloves garlic
250 gr. fresh coriander
1 tablespoon vinegar
Utskho suneli, red pepper flakes and dried coriander – to taste
Blend peeled tomatoes and chopped onion. Add pestle garlic, coriander, and spices. Mix everything and add some vinegar.
Satsebeli can be served with meat, chicken or fried vegetables. It’s better to keep it in a fridge, covered with the lid. Don’t forget to eat more fresh vegetables while it’s still summer!
