On the corner of Merab Kostava and Iakob Nikoladze streets, you will notice an old bas-relief with the inscription “Sachashnike”. This new space of the vibrant pub welcomes guests at any time, whether it’s the start of a hectic week, a Friday night, a live broadcast of a favorite game, or a business lunch.
Older generations of Tbilisi residents fondly remember Sachashnike as the place where they would go for wine. The history of the building has significantly influenced the concept while seamlessly blending with modernity.
"Sachashnike" building is distinguished by a unique relief and engravings of a man and a woman with bunches of grapes, along with the date—1969.
The concept, branding, gastronomic and beverage menu, and marketing of Sachashnike are all the work of "Gastronavt." The partner of Gastronavt in this project is the company "Badagoni.”
A key aspect of the pub's concept is the showcasing of sports events in the space. Screens placed throughout the venue are visible from any point, combined with a high-quality sound system, making Sachashnike the perfect spot for sports enthusiasts.
“The most important part of our culinary direction is the grill: steak, kebabs, fish, vegetables, and chicken—all prepared on the grill. Our grilling technique enhances the flavors without excessive alteration to the original recipes, giving the dishes a delightful, smoky, and simple taste.
When it comes to desserts, we chose a nostalgic theme. We have customers who come to us specifically for desserts, enjoying the so-called classic pastries like “Trubochka”, “Medoki”, and apple and quince pie... They often mention that these flavors take them back to their childhood, reminding them of desserts made by their grandmothers.”
